Wanderlust ♥ ♥ ♥

Ahhh to travel the world. I have that painful yearning to see all that there is to see.
I have the travel bug.....badly. Once it begins I don’t think the urge to up and go ever leaves you.
I am so grateful and lucky that I have had so many opportunities to travel far and wide; my parents are a huge reason for that (thanks mum and dad!). I am currently full of Wanderlust, wishing and dreaming of places to see, cultures to immerse myself in and interesting and unique people to meet.
~
That’s the amazing thing about travel, you find out so much more about the person you are; just by exploring a new place, meeting new people and learning new things ~ so by the time you return home you are able to clearly see the ways in which you yourself have changed.
~
I think travelling is the most valuable way of learning; it’s such an priceless gift to have.
~
This world of ours is huge; there is so much to see, so much you can be. If you ever find yourself with an opportunity to explore and travel, take it and run with it ~ you'll find yourself full of gratitude and happiness and you will become a global citizen!
~
Here is some of my current Wanderlust to get you inspired ♥ ♥ ♥

Sydney Fashion Weekend

Last weekend I had a girls trip away to Sydney to go to the Sydney Fashion Weekend.
My good friend Laura bought me a ticket as a birthday gift (thank you Laura!), so we decided to make a weekend of it, stayed in a gorgeous two story apartment, drank a lot of wine, had awesome chats in the car journey up and laughed ourselves silly... oh and then there was an entire day of shopping too!
~
So for majority of gals out there I'm sure this weekend sounds like something you've done or would love to do, and I agree, little getaways with a great girlfriend are ideal!
~
In case your like, huh? Sydney Fashion Weekend, what? It is a 4 day event that is held at a giant warehouse type venue full of stores / stalls of clothing, jewellery, shoes and accessories; and all for a discounted price! (as in 50% to 90% off - ahh yep!)
Then there is also a runway show each day that you can view if you have purchased a runway ticket, which lovely Laura did get for me so we got to view the runway show also which showcased 10 Australian designers. The clothes were beautiful, the show was executed so well and the music just tied into each designers inspiration and 'look' perfectly.
Below are a few photos I took on the day and a small clip of some of the runway show.

Beautiful Laura

What I Wore: Monday

Well hello there,
Thanks for stopping by my blog ~ in the comments let me know how you managed to fall upon this page!
Here is an outfit post, of a Autumn Monday Outfit.
During the colder months my go to outfit for work is always black tights, black skirt, plain top and some variation of coat, blazer or jacket. Its great for days when I dont wish to think prior to 10.30am, but I am attempting to shake things up a bit as that does get a tad boring for me. I enjoy creativity, and being unique; so I try to put that towards how I choose to dress each day.
~
I love the quote: Fashion is what your offered 4 times a year, style is what you pick out of that fashion. I'm going to attempt to apply this thought to my outfits this winter, so i dont end up with the same girl, same outfit, different day syndrome.
~
Hence the pants, basic as they are I want to wear more pants to work this winter. I am itching to go get these in black...

What I Wore: Tuesday

Oh hi there, how you going?
Here is another work day look, I am obsessed with this Zara knit at the moment, it is so versatile.
I have worn it as a top with jeans, with black tights, as a tunic to work with a black skirt to help lengthen it and out for dinner with black stockings. I am also obsessed with Benton Stripes so this also fits that square to a T.
Days when I wear a basic outfit I like to throw one colour into the mix to make it a tad more interesting. Today it was the red lip, a blog post on how I do my basic red lip will be coming up soon!

What I Wore: Friday

Hi everyone, hope you are all well!
Here is a What I Wore, on a Friday, to workies. Fun times.
I love this top - found it for a steal on eBay, deatils will be below. I also enjoy adding a bright blazer if the rest of my outfit is a tad monochrome, makes it look more interesting easily. The jeans look fairly boring, but wow am I enjoying a good pair of black jeans ~ if you have a Zara in your city check out their denimn, really good quality pieces!
I am also loving these boots that I found for a great price, they are super comfy - I can get around all day in them no problems. I think they are going to be a winter staple this year, expect to see them in a lot of posts!
