THIS WEEK: Favorite Workout

Hello! Today I wanted to share with you my current favourite workout!
As you all are probably well aware of by now I follow Tone It Up, and dun dun dun I am actually headed off to LA at the end of this week (golly gosh) to go on the TIU Retreat!
Craaaazy! I am going to be meeting Karena and Katrina after workout out with them almost daily for two years haha!

Anyway my current favourite workout is one of theirs of course. I am obsessed with working out my abs - anyone else? Its the once muscle group you can work daily and don't need to give it a break like most of your other muscle groups - so in the lead up to the Retreat I have been doing this workout daily along with my other toning and cardio exercises.
My stomach is also probably the one spot on my body that I am really aware of and growing up it was what I was most self conscious about, so working it out a lot helps with my confidence!
Bikini Abs!

NEW #BIKINISERIES Bikini ABS Routine!
This workout burns! But in the best way possible. I love all the moves, they are fun but work like nothing else! Give it a go and let me know how you feel after!

Goodluck!!!

Summer Chicken Salad

Hello everyone, today I have a recipe post for you.
I made this last week making it up as I went along and it turned out to be so yummy and tasty so I snapped it on my iPhone to ensure I remember it so I can make it again!
I have called this one my Summer Chicken Salad, but it is perfect for all year round if you just add into the salad the fruits and vegetables that are in season.

Ingredients:
~
Chicken breast
Salt & Pepper
Olive Oil
~
Rocket
Spinach
Cabbage
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Carrot
Celery
Grapes
Strawberries
Cucumber
~
Lime Juice
Lemon Juice
Wholegrain Mustard
Balsamic Vinegar
~

Method:
~
Cook chicken in olive oil, salt and pepper. I always allow the chicken to brown then I use tongs and sissors to chop it into bite size pieces, much easier than cutting it raw!
~
Create the salad by mixing the rocket, spinach, cabbage and lettuce and placing onto a big plate. Cut up all the fruits and veggies into bite size and add to the greens. I didnt put in quantities as it is really up to you and how much you want to eat!
~
Add cooked chicken to the top of the salad.
~
Dressing:
~
To make the dressing, get out a small cup and juice a lemon and a lime. Add in salt & pepper, 2 teaspoons of wholegrain mustard and 2 tablespoons of balsamic vingear. Mix up with a spoon.
~
Add dressing over the salad and chicken and volia!
~
Enjoy ♥♥♥

Morning Walks Photo Diary

Hello all, I have a quick photo diary to show you today.
I try to go on morning walks (or #bootycalls for you TIU girls!) 4-5 times a week. I get up an hour before I normally would and ill run/walk for 40 minutes. It is honestly the BEST way to wake up.
I had a terrible sleep last night, I get a sore back from time to time and lying down is the worst for it, so of course it woke me many times during the night. I was up at 2am standing in the living room. Yup, just standing. Being upright helps (I am strange I know). Anyway when it got to 6am I thought I am way to tired to get up and out the morning, but I couldn't sleep because it was killing, so I though ahh may as well just go..... and wow was I rewarded for it. I often take way to many photos on my phone, I'll tend to pop one up on Instagram and leave the rest in my phone. I thought today I would share with you all the photos I took the morning, they are too beautiful not to share. Something about early in the morning with the sun rising is really calming and special for me. Maybe its just the fact that I'm impressed with myself for being outside at 6am, but I think it really is a great way to reset yourself and decide how you want the day to go. Anywho, I hope you like the photos, I might start doing weekly photo diaries as I always have so many!! Might be nice to get a documentation happening on the interwebs so if my phone ever goes walkabouts Ill still have the memories!
xoxo
