Adorning in April #5: What I Wore - Double Denim

Happy weekend to you.
I have an outfit of the day that I shot last week of a denim on denim look I wore on the weekend. 
Whats your take on double denim? Love it or hate it? I personally quite like the look, I just always try to go for different colour washes and have another colour in there to break it up a bit. That may be a bright lip, patterned top, statement necklace or shoes or a bright interesting patterned scarf. This outfit inspo came from a picture of a girl wearing a bright pink lipstick. Sometimes I find outfit inspiration in the strangest things, or from the smallest element of the outfit. Like this one below, it all started with me knowing I wanted to wear a bright pink lip. This is how I make fashion fun, by starting knowing just one item I want to wear, or a certain style like casual, sporty, girly, tough etc that I want to achieve and I build it up from there. It makes it fun for me to search through my wardrobe and find new ways to mix and match items I may wear all the time. 
Anywho I am rambling now, onto the outfit!

Autumn / Winter 2014 Fashion Board

Sigh! The first of March officially marked Autumn as the new season here in Australia. Goodbye summer, I love you. 

I am a summer lover 100% through and through so knowing that I am entering into Autumn and Winter is tough on my emotions and the ability to feel my nose and hands lessens ever so slightly. 

Enter Pinterest, sweet sweet Pinterest. I have cleaned up my page, created myself an Autumn / Winter Inspiration board and have been pinning away to my hearts content for the past week to ease me into the cooler months. 

Below are a few of my favorite looks / trends / outfits that I am going to be wearing this Autumn / Winter, let me know your favorite look!

Hello all! 
Here is a What I Wore, a Saturday edition. As I am writing this I am hiccuping like crazy! - so annoying! 
Anywho, this is what I wore out for a brunch with my beautiful friend then a casual afternoon with the beau, went for an afternoon stroll and just relaxing a home! All in all, a chilled out Saturday. 
I love this shirt, it speaks to me haha. But seriously, this printed tee trend is taking off ~ or is it just my addiction? I teamed it up with a blazer to make it a little less casual. Added my super comfy ripped up bf jeans and my concealed heal, high tops to tie in the black. 
I love these shoes, they are so comfy but still give me some added height in a super casual look!
