What I Wore: Hot Summers Day

Hello there, today here I have an outfit of the day, one from a very hot one!

We've been having a heatwave here in Australia the last few weeks so on weekends I've been trying to pull apart my wardrobe to find the coolest things to wear! This one served me well with the top opening at the back and being crotchet style. The shorts are loose and really light which is a thumbs up from me!

What I Wore: Her Fashion Box Edition #1

Hello beautiful people, happy ALMOST New Year to you!
Today for my last post of 2013 I have an outfit of the day which is incorporating my two favourite items from my December Her Fashion Box.
(If your not sure what this is, then read THIS blog to learn all about it!)

My December box held two beautiful jewellery pieces in it this month, both of which I adore, so I chose to feature them for this months post of HFB (there may be another post coming up as well to do with the December box - I really loved it!)
 

First up are these gorgeous blue jewelled studs. Such a lovely vibrant colour - perfect for a monochrome look if you want to add a touch of colour.  

Next was this statement necklace. Look. How. Beautiful. It. Is! I have been wearing this bad boy non-stop! It honestly goes with everything and is that perfect piece to add to an otherwise basic outfit, or to add more glam to a work outfit or going out look. 

Alias, here is my Outfit Of The Day - a casual basic Sunday outfit on a hot summers day. What I love is that the jewellery adds a nice touch to a simple shorts a tee look.

What I Wore: Work Day

Hello there, welcome back to another What I Wore.
Below are some photos of an outfit I wore to work this week. It is super basic, just a dress, jacket and flats but I think its made that bit more interesting by the design of the dress. This type of dress I think is one of the most flattering styles on any figure. It has the stripes going horizontally at the top then from the waist the stripes go vertically, giving you that slightly more hourglass shape. The Breton Stripe - Outfit Of The Day

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.
Here is an outfit of the day from last Sunday, nice and casual and comfy for running errands and doing joyful things such as cleaning and food shopping (whooo the excitement!)
~
I found this gem of a tee from Sportsgirl and couldn't resist. I am constantly on the hunt for 
'the perfect stripe tee' 
and this may be just that. I dont know why but I find it so difficult to find a really well made, nicely shaped and that perfect color stipe in a top, is that too much to ask for?!
I like that this one is white with a navy stripe, I think I now will keep my eyes peeled for a light blue stripe top, any suggestions will be appreciated!
I think I am so obsessive over this because stripes are such a timeless piece ~ find the perfect one and it will work for years!

Debate: The Fur Vest

Hi all,

today i've got a post on the fur vest. First up - by fur I of course mean FAUX fur! I am 100% against real fur anything here people! Faux all the way!

~

So fur vest, do you love it or do you hate it? For such a long time I've always said you will never catch me wearing anything faux fur or anything lepord print. I just have never liked either and thought that they both have the tendancy to easily make an outfit go from great to ..... erm.... trashy?!

~

Wait wait, now before you all start screaming at me, i think im coming around to the fur.... not sure about animal print just yet... but the faux fur i am warming up to. I think the faux fur vest can add a touch of glamor and style to a basic outfit, and an added bonus; it keeps you warm which is a plus for someone who cant feel their nose or fingers all winter long (anyone else out there??). Done right, I think it can be pulled off.

I may have a What I Wore coming up with a faux fur vest.... you shall have to tune in and see!

What I Wore: Friday

Hi everyone, hope you are all well!

Here is a What I Wore, on a Friday, to workies. Fun times.

I love this top - found it for a steal on eBay, deatils will be below. I also enjoy adding a bright blazer if the rest of my outfit is a tad monochrome, makes it look more interesting easily. The jeans look fairly boring, but wow am I enjoying a good pair of black jeans ~ if you have a Zara in your city check out their denimn, really good quality pieces!

 I am also loving these boots that I found for a great price, they are super comfy - I can get around all day in them no problems. I think they are going to be a winter staple this year, expect to see them in a lot of posts!
